Send me a cute or funny story about your pet (jimware@jimwareworks.com) and I'll share as many as I can on my BLOG below:

I was visiting my brother recently. While having coffee in his kitchen and chatting about the wildlife that runs through
his acreage, we kept hearing this thump. After a few minutes of this, we looked into the dining area ajoining the kitchen.
Apparently, as I was gesturing with my watch hand, the morning sun was reflecting off of my watch and onto the hallway wall.
My cat, Kurby, was jumping four feet into the air against the wall trying to catch the little dot.
Hello, welcome to my site. My name
is Jim Ware and I enjoy painting portraits of pets. Painting animals is one of my most favorite things to do.
Having had several pets in my life, I know just how special
they become. They really are like one of the family. Commissioning an oil portrait of your special friend has
to be one of the grandest ways to honor their life and their memory. Their unconditional love is without equal in this
world.
MY PORTRAITS ARE:
Hand-painted
by me rather than computer generated simulations of an oil painting
Painted on acid-free professionally-prepared canvases
Painted with top-quality oil pigments
Allowed to dry to the touch before they are ever shipped (about two weeks)
Ready for framing when you receive them
I have limited
my product line to just two sizes of portraits, but that doesn't mean I am not open to discussing other sizes. Please
call me if you don't like the choices above and let's talk. I'm sure we can come to some kind of agreement on size and
price.
Just Follow These Simple Steps
1-Select a
few pictures from your pet photos that we can look at together.
2- Send me an email with the photos attached or send them in the regular mail with your phone
number included. Together, we can select the one that best represents your subject's personality and has the potential
to be an attractive oil painting, too.
3- After we're happy with the picture, you will send me a check for
$100 to get things started.
4- If you have email and provide your
address, I will send you two emails with pictures of the painting. The first will be when the painting is about half
done. The final one will be to show the finished portrait. I will ship it within two weeks to give it time to
dry. During these two weeks of drying, I will need a check from you for the balance of the portrait fee (depends on
the size you chose).
5- I appreciate your business very much and
hope you will share my name with friends and family who may also be interested in preserving a love one's image. Enjoy!
A Few Comments From My Clients
"In
2008 the loss of our family dog, Millie, hit all of us incredibly hard. A family pet that was bought by my brother and I had
become a cornerstone in our family. Especially to my mom and dad. After her loss, I could think of no better way pay tribute
to her 15 years of loyal friendship. The painting and the video brought tears to all of our eyes as we paid tribute to undying
loyalty, friendship, and love from our Millie."

“My husband was thrilled
with the painting of Kodi. I know when we opened it, we all had tears in our eyes as it looked exactly like Kodi, right
down to every last spot. We've placed the painting in our living room and every time we see it, it feels like Kodi is
still here, watching over us. Thank you again for this amazing painting that will ensure us that even though Kodi is
gone, the memory of our beloved Blue Heeler will always remain.
I will absolutely recommend you and your
wonderful talent to family and friends and again I thank you from the bottom of my heart for making this Christmas present
one my husband will never forget. Thank you!!!!
